Crispy Herb-Roasted Broccoli (Paleo, AIP)

Description

This Crispy Herb-Roasted Broccoli is an exciting twist on a classic roasted broccoli recipe. Quick and easy, yet unique and delightful. Perfect for a holiday side dish, or a quick weeknight side. Plus, it’s AIP, Paleo and Whole30 compliant!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs broccoli florets, cut into roughly equal size (approx. 4 very small heads, or 2 large)
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/3 cup pork panko
  • 1/4 cup non-fortified nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425ºF.

Add all ingredients to a large bowl and toss to combine. Transfer to a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and arrange in a single layer, spacing evenly.

Roast at 425ºF for 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is starting to turn brown and crispy.

Notes

Best when served immediately, but will store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a few days. To reheat, just pop it back on a sheet pan in the oven for a few minutes to warm through and crisp up again.
