These Savory Balsamic Roasted Carrots are super simple to make, have no added sugars, and are AIP, Paleo and Whole30 compliant! Roast them up for a quick and easy weeknight side dish, or double the recipe for a holiday side everyone will enjoy.

I don’t know why, but so many carrot recipes have added sugar in them – whether it’s maple syrup, brown sugar, or honey. Carrots are sweet enough on their own, especially when you roast them to crispy, caramelized perfection. They don’t need any added sugar, in my opinion.

So, I set out to make a savory version of Balsamic Roasted Carrots, and I think it turned out perfectly! You just need 5 ingredients and a few minutes of hands-on time, and you’ve got a rich, slightly-sweet, slightly-savory side dish you can serve with just about anything.

Let’s get cookin’!
